Largest Mosque in Bahrain
The Al-Fateh Mosque (مسجد الفاتح) is one of the largest in the world, possessing a capacity to accommodate over 7,000 worshipers. The mosque was built by the revered Sheikh Isa in 1987 and was named after Ahmed Al Fateh, the founder of Bahrain. The serene Mosque is adorned with marble from Italy, glass from Austria and teak from India.
